Matthew Adkins
President & Solutions Architect
Author, speaker, trainer, and business advisor, Matthew Adkins is a results-driven professional with 14 years of experience in the design, implementation, and administration of small, medium and large business networks. Matthew holds an associate’s degree in Network Systems Administration from Stautzenberger College and is currently finishing a bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University. He has worked as a network consultant, systems administrator, and technical lead, and holds numerous certifications with some of the world’s most renowned technology companies. In addition to managing day to day operations at VanGuard, Matthew is well known in the SMB reseller community as a managed services consultant and member of the Level Platforms and AVG CloudCare Partner Advisory Councils. In his time away from the office, Matthew enjoys photographing drive-in movie theaters, reading science fiction, and the Toledo Mud Hens. He volunteers as a Live Video camera operator and Financial Peace University assistant for Cedar Creek Church. He is also an Eagle Scout and Life Member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.
Paul Weirich
Support Engineer
As a Support Engineer, Paul Weirich provides onsite and remote help desk service to VanGuard’s desktop and mobile users. Paul is CompTIA A+ Certified and Dell Certified and is proficient in a wide range of business technologies. In addition to several years of experience in the Information Technology field, Paul is experienced in real estate management and understands the technical and budgetary demands involved with today’s Realtors and property managers.
Michael Kubit
Support Engineer
Michael Kubit provides remote help desk services to VanGuard’s clients. Mike is CompTIA A+ Certified and a Microsoft Certified Professional and is proficient in a wide range of business technologies. In addition to several years of experience in the Information Technology field, Mike has marketing experience in property management and understands what it takes to achieve success for today’s Realtors and property managers.
Ken Trumbull
Client Development Specialist
Ken Trumbull is a Virtual CIO and Client Development Specialist at VanGuard Technologies. Among his many duties are building strong client relationships and project management. Ken is Microsoft certified and is proficient in a wide range of business technologies. In addition to working several years in the Information Technology field (heathcare and manufacturing), Ken is experienced in real estate management and sales. Ken holds a B.S. in Scientific and Technical Communication from Michigan Technological University. In his spare time he likes to take walks on the beach, work out, and enrich himself through reading.
Kristy Adkins
Operations Coordinator
Kristy Adkins is the Operations Coordinator for VanGuard Technologies, specializing in finance, office management, dispatch and engineer coordination for the company. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting from Stautzenberger College and joins VanGuard after several years in the accounting and retail industries, including a position as a customer service manager. Kristy enjoys collecting KISS memorabilia and carousel horses, drawing, reading, writing short stories and crafts like cross-stitching, plastic canvas and knitting.
